Bunn's Barbeque
Description
A down-east favorite in a rustic roadside building, the type of character a true BBQ Joint should possess. The Bunns BBQ building was a filling station before 1938, when it became a barbecue parlor. There’s still an old Texaco pump outside and our inside is decorated with vintage signs, ads, and ephemera. ( The atmosphere is vaguely similar to what the Cracker Barrel chain aims to create; but in our case, it is real! ) When you enter, you have a choice of sitting on a bench at a counter in a room to the left or at a table in a room to the right. Whichever place you sit, service is lightning-fast…That’s because there is virtually no choice on this menu. What you eat is pork!
