SurfPig stopped in and tried the Buffet for lunch at Shuler’s BBQ in Latta, SC. Great BBQ, but be sure to try the Squash Casserole and “Little Biscuits”. BBQ is served with light mustard based sauce in original and mild form. The original is not overly spicy, so unless you’re sensitive go for the original.
The staff is very friendly and accomodating. Ribs weren’t available until aftet 4:00 p.m, so we’ll have to make a trip back to try those. We tried to purchase some Rib Rub, but it was not available as they were prepping for a large catering job during the lunch rush. We understand the Rub is worth another trip as well, and the “Little Biscuits”.
