A competition chef brings good Q to the Windy City with a sauce that gets raves. As a young boy, Charlie was taught the secrets of his grandmother Lillie´s special sauces. Years later, these unique blends and three generations of southern-style barbeque mastery has netted Executive Chef Charlie numerous national awards including Winner of the coveted Memphis-In-May World Championship Barbeque Cooking Contest.

Chef McKenna opened the doors of Lillie´s Q in July 2010 after honing his skills at top restaurants in Miami, New York and Chicago. Named for his Grandmother Lillie, who taught him the art of southern cooking back home in Greenville, SC,
