SurfPig made another visit to Johnson’s Family BBQ on Hwy 98 in Durham, NC. Don’t let the small size of the place fool you, the BBQ which is smoked over wood if big on flavor. It has become one of SurfPig’s favorites in NC and he always tries to stop in if anywhere close to Johnson’s. The Brunswick Stew is as good as the BBQ and in the fall nothing is better than good wood smoked BBQ and Brunswick Stew. Last time in SurfPig had to get two sandwiches for the road and 4 pounds to go!
