Duke’s Old South BBQ – Leland, NC
Duke’s Old South BBQ in Leland, NC was SurfPig’s latest stop on the BBQHWY. Duke’s smokes their BBQ for 15 hours before pulling and chopping. Nice smoke flavor, which you can add one of their 4 sauces as you wish. A nice surprise was the smoked chicken that had a wonderful smoke flavor and very tender and juicy. Staff is incredibly nice and attentive. It’s worth taking the short drive from Hwy 74 to Dukes Old South BBQ in Leland, NC. Stop by the next time you are on the way to Wilmington, Wrightsville Beach, Carolina Beach or any of the Southeastern NC Beaches.
